This page lists every cookie this website actually sets, what each one does, and how long it lasts. We checked the live site to build this list rather than copying a template.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site recognise a returning browser. Cookies cannot read files on your computer and cannot carry viruses. Related technologies — local storage and pixels — do a similar job and are covered here too.

Grow also loads the Unified ID 2.0 SDK, an advertising identity framework, which may store an identifier in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie. We did not configure this; it ships with the plugin. It is disclosed in our Privacy Policy, and you can opt out using the Unified ID 2.0 link below.
What we do not set
- No advertising cookies from us. Google AdSense is not enabled on this site, so we serve no ad cookies of our own
- No Facebook or TikTok pixel
- No session recording or heatmap tools such as Hotjar or Clarity
- No login or newsletter cookies, because the site has neither
Consent — where we currently stand
We are not going to claim more than is true. This site does not yet show a cookie consent banner. Analytics cookies are set when you arrive.
For readers in Australia that is ordinary practice. For readers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the stricter position under the ePrivacy rules is that non-essential cookies need consent before they are set, and continuing to browse is not consent. We are working on a consent tool to close that gap, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend the gap is not there.
In the meantime, the controls below work immediately and do not depend on us.
How to turn cookies off
Opt out of Google Analytics everywhere
Install Google’s official Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. It stops Analytics on every site you visit, not just this one.
Block or delete cookies in your browser
Using a private or incognito window clears everything when you close it.

Does blocking cookies break the site?
No. Every guide, table and calculator on this site works with all cookies blocked. The only thing you lose is that our traffic figures will not count your visit, which costs you nothing.
Changes
When we add or remove a tool we re-check the live site and update the table above with a new effective date.
