North Canberra Hospital used to be called something else
On 3 July 2023, the ACT Government took over what was then Calvary Public Hospital Bruce in a contentious compulsory acquisition, ending Calvary’s contract to run it as a public hospital. It was renamed North Canberra Hospital and continues to operate as a public Canberra Health Services facility. If you see the old name in an older document, map, or referral letter, this is the hospital it means.
